As-Sadiq Islamic School Honours Remembrance Day

On Monday, November 11, 2024, Our As-Sadiq Islamic School students, staff and teachers gathered to commemorate Remembrance Day, a day to honour those who gave their lives to serve our country.

Our students took the lead, speaking about the significance of this day, reciting the poignant “In Flanders Fields” poem, and standing in a solemn moment of silence to honor those who sacrificed for our freedom.

By remembering, we pay tribute to members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the RCMP who served to defend our values and freedoms. We also honour those who continue to serve our country today.
