Thank you for supporting our Lebanon initiatives

As followers of the teachings of Islam and the Ahlul Bayt (a), we are reminded of the values of compassion, generosity, and care for those in need. Imam Ali (a) has said, “The best of people is the one who is most helpful to others.” Additionally, The Prophet (SAWA) reminds us that ‘The best of people is he who gives away his hard-earned money [in charity].

This academic year, 2024-2025, we were honoured to work with two organizations The Zahra Trust Canada and Nour Aids Foundation to support the people of Lebanon. Thanks to the generosity of our students, families, staff and supporters, we were successful in the following acts of charity.

The Zahra Trust Canada

We set out a target of raising $15,000 in partnership with the Zahra Trust Canada on our campaign page: https://zahratrust.ca/oasis/

Thanks to the kind generosity of our school community, we exceeded our target and have Alhamdullilah raised $24,772 that is going towards the Lebanon Winter Drive initiative.

Nour Aids Foundation

In partnership with Nour Aids Foundation, we  organized a donation drive to provide much-needed support for those in dire need. This initiative allows us to put the values of helping others into action and assist those who are struggling in these difficult times. The last date to drop of donations was Monday, December 2, 2024.  Our school community donated medical equipment and essentials for basic needs such as winter coats, sweaters etc. and non-perishable items.

Thank you for your support and for being part of this noble effort. Together, we can bring warmth and hope to those in need this winter.
