As followers of the teachings of Islam and the Ahlul Bayt (a), we are reminded of the values of compassion, generosity, and care for those in need. Imam Ali (a) has said, “The best of people is the one who is most helpful to others.

As the winter season approaches, many families in Lebanon are facing unprecedented challenges. In partnership with Nour Aids Foundation, we are organizing a donation drive to provide much-needed support for those in dire need. This initiative allows us to put the values of helping others into action and assist those who are struggling in these difficult times.

The last date to drop of donations is Monday, December 2, 2024. Kindly ensure that all items are new.

What are we collecting and sending?

We kindly ask for your assistance in donating new items from the following categories:

  • Medical Equipment
Hearing aids, wheelchairs, hospital beds, walkers, crutches, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other medical supplies.
  • Essentials for Basic Needs
    • Winter coats, sweaters, gloves, scarves, hats, and socks (for all ages)
    • Non-perishable items such as rice, lentils, canned beans, pasta, etc. (Please ensure that all food donations have an expiry date of at least 6 months from the time of donation.)
    • Blankets, toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap), and diapers for babies and adults.

Where can we drop off the items?

Donations can be dropped off at the school office or sent with your children to be delivered to their homeroom teachers. We kindly ask that all items be new to ensure they meet the health and safety needs of the recipients.

Thank you for your support and for being part of this noble effort.

Together, we can bring warmth and hope to those in need this winter.
