Our new and improved website and logo are live!

As we celebrate and mark our school’s 30th year anniversary this academic year 2023-24, we are pleased to present our brand new and improved website and logo.

Our new website is vibrant with our refreshed branding and logo, contains simple navigation and is informative and interactive, allowing our visitors to access up-to-date information. Over the past year, As-Sadiq Islamic School’s Board of Trustees together with the administration team has been working hard to build a new website that better reflects our community, program offerings, improves navigation for current students and families and staff, and provides a refreshed digital front door for new students and families interested in joining our school.

Our new website highlights:

• Updated navigation: Main menu and audience landing page architecture has been updated to help you find the information you need more intuitively and efficiently.
• Informative content:
  New ways to explore our programs and admissions: Future students can now explore our program offerings such as Montessori, Elementary and High school. We’ve also added simplified information about our admission process, key dates.
  • Syed’s Corner, blog posts, pictures and calendar that provide a glimpse into our school life, along with resources to support families and students in their educational journey at our school. 
  • Alumni Connections: Our school has been in existence for 30 years now and we want to celebrate, highlight and connect with our alumni in new and meaningful ways and are therefore including a section to do exactly that.
• Truly mobile responsive: Check out the website on your mobile phone and tablets. It’s a much cleaner experience than our current website.

Our original logo was developed years ago and it needed refreshing to reflect our evolution.

Our new logo highlights

• Quintet of five-pointed stars, paying homage to our Shia faith through a profound narration of the ‘kisa’. These stars radiate the purity of Allah’s most revered creations: The Panjataan – The Holy Prophet, Imam Ali, Syeda Fatema, Imam Hasan, and Imam Husayn.
• A reimagined shield emblem, signaling a new era for As-Sadiq Islamic School, while maintaining our traditions.
• The iconic Canadian Maple Leaf, a testament to our deep-rooted Canadian lineage and pride.
• “1994” – a nostalgic nod to the foundational year of As-Sadiq Islamic School, marking our genesis. 
• School name: Pronounced, bold, and unmissable. Our school’s name takes the spotlight, standing tall and with dignity.
• Artistic vector portrayals of a boy and girl, a seamless evolution from our prior logo, encapsulating the essence of our vibrant student community.
• A mesmerizing decorative motif, taking cues from Qur’anic Ayaat 261 of Sura Al Baqarah. It’s a divine representation of those who magnanimously contribute for the love of Allah, likened to grains that exponentially flourish

We want to thank everyone who participated in the selection process of the new logo! Together, we identified a logo that keeps the link to the original logo, but is suitable for our next stage of growth.

With a brand new website and logo, all our communication materials now have a consistent, engaging and contemporary look.
