The Canada-Wide Science Fair, the pinnacle of youth STEM excellence in Canada. Hosted annually by Youth Science Canada, this extraordinary event brings together our nation’s brightest young minds, celebrating their passion for STEM and innovation.

About Khaleel’s and Mohammedmahdi’s project

Alhamdulillah, Khaleel Khaki and Mohammadmahdi Shahhaidari won gold medals at the York Region SciTech Fair 2024-2025 in April 2024 for their innovative research project on “Auto-Theft” titled Auto Shield 2.0: The Dual Defence System for All Vehicles. Watch the video above to learn more about the project.

Khaleel and Mohammedmahdi joined many other students in presenting groundbreaking research and inventive solutions, showcasing a window into the incredible potential of our young scientists. They  competed nationally at the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) at Carleton University, Ottawa, representing As-Sadiq Islamic School. Khaleel and Mohammadmahdi spent two years designing, refining and testing their “Auto-Shield” project to prevent security breaches in automobiles. Their “Autoshield” offers ease of mind to vehicle owners by alleviating the fear of financial loss and transportation disruptions. With its twofold security shield, cars are kept safe from nearly all threats at a very affordable price, ensuring owners can protect their vehicles without having to empty their pockets.

Thanks to our entire school community for keeping our students in your duas as they made history and for wishing them well.

We are so proud of our students. Congratulations once again to Khaleel and Mohammedmahdi.
