Our educators and students participate in Take Me Outside Day

As-Sadiq Islamic School teachers and students joined over 500,000 educators and learners to mark Take Me Outside Day. This day helps to raise awareness about outdoor learning by encouraging educators to take their learners outside. This day is celebrated on October 23, 2024.

How did we celebrate the day?

This day connects thousands across Canada by raising awareness and encouraging students, teachers and the community to spend more time outside and the importance of unplugging and reconnecting with Nature.  Outdoor education activity promotes physical health and well-being for every child and youth and provides a positive and engaging environment within our schools and community.

Our teachers and students are embracing this day by taking some time to do some outdoor active play and learning and we are sharing a snapshot of these pictures showing a celebration of outdoor learning on our social media pages: Check us out on Facebook and Instagram for various videos posted in honour of this day.
