About the Parent-Team Association (PTA)
The As-Sadiq Islamic School Parent-Team Association (PTA) is a group of parents, who work closely with teachers, staff, and Board of Trustees, that meet regularly to plan events, fundraise, and discuss parental issues. The aim is to facilitate parent participation in their child’s school, as well as support fundraising initiatives for activities, field trips, and provide treats on special occasions. The goals of the PTA serve to enhance productive learning environments and foster inclusive school community spirit. We are excited for a fun-filled year!

- Facilitate parent involvement and participation in the school

PTA Activities
The PTA executive committee, along with the support of a dedicated team of parent volunteers, organizes and manages various flagship programs and services, such as:
- Milk Program (cold refreshing milk served twice weekly)
- Pizza Days (monthly pizza lunch)
- Annual school-wide activities: Winter Fun Day and Summer Carnival
- Scientists in School Program (hands-on science experience for Casa to Grade 8)
- Treats on special occasions (given out on birth / death anniversaries of Panjatan)
- School-wide food days (Popeyes lunch on special occasions)
- Hot lunch program (warm meals served at lunch-will be re-introduced soon)
