Raised $1530 for Terry Fox – A world without cancer

Every year, our school community comes together to support Terry Fox’s message of hope of a world without cancer.

The Terry Fox Walk is an As–Sadiq tradition that we are proud of participating in for the last 10 years. 40+ years have passed since this movement started and it continues to grow strong in the hearts of Canadians each year.

To date, our As–Sadiq family has raised over $33,500 for this cause and we were successful in surpassing our goal of $1,460, this year.

Terry Fox Walk on Nov 18

On Monday, November 18, we held our annual Terry Fox Walk to raise funds for cancer research.

All students came to school dressed in uniform and wore red or white shirt OVER their uniform to show their support for the cause.
